[CONTRIBUTION OF STUDENTS OF THE FACULTY OF ART AND DESIGN EDUCATION]

The meeting between FPSD leaders and MPW, is a series of Part-Time Student (MPW) recruitment activities with the theme of briefings from faculty leaders held on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, in the FPSD Meeting Room on the 1st floor of FPSD Building 1, which was attended by Dean Dr. Phil., Yudi Sukmayadi, M.Pd. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs Dr. Trianti Nugraheni, M.Si. Vice Dean for KSDU Dr. Tri Karyono, M.Sn. Vice Dean for Student Affairs Dr. Dadang Sulaeman, M.Sn.  Kasie Adum SD, Head of Laboratory, Laboratory Assistant Technician and Part-Time Students (MPW) who have just passed the MPW admission selection in FPSD UPI.

In his briefing, the Dean of the Faculty of Art and Design Education Dr. Phil., Yudi Sukmayadi, M.Pd. emphasized the targets that must be achieved in line with the timeline from 2023 to 2027. The targets under the academic field emphasize on improving the quality and quantity of lecturers’ papers published in reputable journals, especially at the international level. In addition, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) which already ranks second in the university must be continued in the form of patents, because based on the views of the university leadership and the UPI Innovation Division, FPSD is a unit that is capable and must contribute more patent works. The target under the KSDU field is more on means of publication and promotion through improving the quality and quantity of news on faculty activities through posts on the fpsd.upi.edu website and various social media facilities and the target for the field of student affairs is more on student business incubators, especially in terms of students who are already entrepreneurs, as well as alumni.

At the end of his direction, the Dean of FPSD reiterated that the division of tasks or tupoksi of each MPW must work hand in hand, collaborate and contribute fully to the progress and achievement of common dreams or goals, FPSD must become better known and in demand by the general public at regional, national and international levels.
